Allow veterans to pay in-state tuition rates in all states, no matter which state they joined the service from.

Created by N.E. on August 20, 2013

Active duty veterans serve our entire country.

Once they exit military service veterans often relocate to different sections of our country. There are hoops and hurdles they must jump through to try to establish residency for the purpose of paying in-state tuition. If they choose to relocate or transfer to another university, the process begins again.

Veterans who have honorably served our country should qualify for in-state tuition rates no matter where they relocate to in the U.S., forever.

The University of Michigan has adopted a policy to charge veterans in-state tuition. Please follow their example and implement this policy nation wide.
