The VA hospitals have always provided substandard healthcare to veterans. Most doctors veterans see at the VA hospital are in fact physician assistants and not actual doctors. Veterans wait weeks, months and sometimes never receive the care they need because the VA hospitals are not properly staffed. This can be rectified by allowing the veterans to find medical from civilian doctors if they choose. Give the veteran the choice!
