Military Veterans who have served their time honorably leave the military with few, if any benefits. The VA issues ID cards to Veterans for VA hospital use. Why not allow the Veterans access to the Commissary, Navy Exchange (NEX), Army Exchange (AAFES), shopmyexchange.com, and PX using the same ID card? It is an added benefit that will cost the government very little, but mean a lot to families that are struggling and need that extra help. Let's help out our Veterans!
Right now, only Active Duty military, dependents of Active Duty Military, Retired Military, and dependents of retired military can use the Exchange and Commissary, let's change this to include veterans. Will you sign??
