Dear Mr. President
Currently veterans that are honorably discharged are having to pay out of pocket for schools if they are not a state resident. Honorably discharged veterans that move to a new state to start college are either having to wait 1 year to become in state residents or pay the out of state tuition fees. The GI bill should cover this for them, or make it so veterans are waived of the need to be residents. Having the to wait 1 year conflicts with a smooth transition into civilian life. We should not have to wait for our educational benefits. We defended Americans in every state not just the one we decided to enlist in.
