Currently only active military and their immediate families, retired military and their immediate families, and veterans with 100% service connected disabilities are able to access base privileges such as the commissary, the exchange, golf courses, bowling etc. I feel that it is completely unacceptable that spouses and children of active duty military, and retired military can get all of these privileges, however those who have served in combat and received and honorable discharge after completing their active service agreement, received the Purple Heart, or have service connected disabilities can not have access to the bases to enjoy the privileges they fought for. All veterans who were honorably discharged, should have the same privileges.
