Volkswagen has innovated a new hybrid combustion engine that can achieve efficiency of up to 300MPG under correct conditions. However, it has been denied a touring and a place in showrooms in America for unexplained reasons. Volkswagen also has created a Jetta TDI "blue motion" wagon non-hybrid that can achieve 85MPG, which is made in America in fact but has been banned from American roads.
This petition asks President Obama to make it easier for Americans to cut our dependence on fossil fuels and save Americans money and our environment. Allow these cars to be sold in our markets and help spread awareness of this innovative technology.
