We the People, in order to ensure a more prosperous nation would like this petition to reflect our desire for a balanced national budget. This petition asks that the federal government allow a vote by the People to amend the constitution to REQUIRE a balanced budget. Also to REQUIRE any deficit spending to be approved by a vote by the People. This vote should go to the People because it has become clear that Congress, The Senate and the Office of the President of the United States have not be good stewards of the Peoples money.
