Allow Voters to Ratify Constitutional Amendment Creating Federal Sales Tax in Lieu of Federal Income Tax

Abolish Personal and Business Federal Income Taxes. Create a Federal Sales Tax of 8-10% for All non-food purchases. This Federal Sales Tax will level the playing field for Single, Married, Civil Unions, Rich, Poor, Undocumented Workers, Illegal Immigrants, Welfare and Disability Recipients. If the Legislative Branch can not create a bipartisan law, put the issue on the Ballot for the Voters to ratify as a Constitutional Amendment. Business pays sales tax at same rate as consumers. Senior Citizens (62 and older) pay 5% Federal Tax with valid Government Issued photo ID containing Date of Birth. Those who currently do not file Federal Tax Returns will pay their fair share at the cash register. No loopholes. You spend money, you pay the tax. Churches, Schools, Nonprofits pay sales tax.
