Due to the failure of the United States government to act in a manner which respects and defends individual rights, the people of Wisconsin request a political divorce from the federal government of the United States.
The people of Wisconsin hereby request a separation of the political ties which have previously bound Wisconsin to the U.S. in order to establish a proper, rights-respecting government.
