We are all familiar with the injustice done to a large number of the US population when greed riding banks and wall-street tycoons created and then later burst the housing bubble.
There are some programs available for qualifying people to help refinance or lower their mortgage payments; however, nothing has been done to help those people who are lucky to have a job and continue making their payments.
My petition is to allow the withdrawal of funds from 401K programs (without penalty) for people over 50 years old to pay for their mortgage. We need to continue allowing the American dream.
