We hereby petition the Federal Government to promise noninterference in exercising our 10th amendment right to hold free and open voting on the matter of secession from the Union.
We also petition that should the People of Vermont so choose to secede from the Union, a peaceful secession shall be granted in accordance with the 10th amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America.
