Allow women in the Military who work human resource MOS's to wear French tip nails which do not distract look of uniform

Created by R.R. on November 11, 2012

I believe that military women should not have to look like men in order to be respected as Soldiers. We can still look and be respectable and professional without being viewed only as Soldiers and not women. It is a sex based bias that women cannot handle themselves professionally if they simply wear nails that are a little longer than a 1/2 inch. An example are Airforce females. They are allowed by regulation to wear ponytails for PT and stud earrings in their duty uniform. Army women cannot do either and there is no reason we should not be able to. The fact is that we are Women serving this nation and we should be respected and seen as such by our leaders regardless of our feminine qualities which we cannot be rid of. Men will be men regardless. This is not a radical request.
