Throughout history women have always been told they will never be as good as a man. Because of this, more and more women start to believe that since certain jobs are only available to men they shouldn't even try to apply. A commonly argued point is that women can be raped and tortured, but if you think about it so can men. If a woman is captured, the situation should be handled in the same manner as if it were a man. She is no different than any of the other soldiers there, and having a woman on the mission is likely to result in a more peaceful and efficient outcome when dealing with local people. The same as any of the other men, that woman swore an oath to serve and protect well aware of the risks involved. Why not give women a chance to serve their country on the front lines too?
