Allow the Writing of a Petition in Length > 800 Characters

Created by J.L. on August 29, 2014

Whereas, the First Amendment of the United States Constitution states:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

We the People, DEMAND the ability to create a petition on this website at any length we so choose. In failing to comply with this request, our right to "petition the Government for a redress of grievances" has thereby been infringed.
