The federal Do not Call list was created to give Americans relief from harassing telephone calls from entities we do not wish to hear from. However, this law conveniently excludes the lawmakers from bothering us at home. Election time became absurd with families getting dozens of calls a day in support or against a certain candidate. We should not have to deal with political robocalls in addition to all of the commercials we are forced to endure for months on end during an election cycle
