Alternative Healthcare Plan: a Proposal to Improve Health standards and accountability in providing National Healthcare

Created by N.Y. on November 16, 2016

It is obviously clear the Affordable Healthcare plan has been...unsatisfactory to many, and doesn't adequately address the standards of medical care required to maintain health security of this great nation. I propose Healthcare be organized into a Disciplined Uniformed Corps like branches of the United States Armed Forces, comprised of existing members of the other services' medical officers and staff. This "Medical Corps", could be provided for out of the existing budget, and aside from some minor infrastructure changes, would be revenue neutral otherwise and will be deployed DOMESTICALLY to action centers (clinics) within the areas that currently lack medical services. Specialist medical training could be provided in the similar manner to ROTC training.
