Amanda Knox

The American people stand with Amanda Knox and will not honor any request for extradition. The initial & subsequent trials did more to prove Ms. Knox's innocence than any possibility of her guilt in the tragic death of Meredith Kercher. Our hearts go out to the Kercher family in their loss and quest for justice and cannot begin to understand their pain or to trivialize the agony and heartbreak they probably endure to this day. Convicting Ms. Knox based on the media portrayal of her that had no basis in truth but served only to sensationalize the tragic events, is not proof of guilt. The sole person responsible for the death of Ms. Kercher has confessed his guilt and has already been tried, convicted and sentenced.
