Amend 18 U.S.C. §922 Chapter 44 in order to allow Federal firearm purchase laws to represent State firearm purchase law.

Created by W.H. on March 31, 2016

In 18 U.S.C. §922 Ch. 44 9b(1) it currently states that no persons shall be allowed to purchase any rifle or shotgun, or ammunition unless the person is a minimum age of 18, and furthermore no persons shall buy any firearm that is other than a rifle or shotgun, or ammunition unrelated to a rifle/shotgun unless they are the minimum age of 21. In §922 Ch. 44 9b(2) it states that it shall be unlawful for any person to purchase a firearm or corresponding ammunition unless State law permits the sale and possession at the age stated in State law. This code currently only supports states whose purchase and possession age is equal to or higher than that of Federal law. This petition is to amend these codes to support state laws and allow for lower ages to be permitted in accordance with State law.
