amend the 22nd Amendment to include all federal elected officials, including members of Congress.

Created by C.R. on March 15, 2013

The 22nd Amendment needs to include all federal elected officials not just the President. Congress no longer represents the people, they represent the lobbyists and corporations that give them money for re-election. Term limits would help to decrease the time Congressmen spend trying for re-election and ensure that new people with new ideas are elected into federal government. As Congress cannot be trusted to vote on this, the issue should be included into the midterm elections in 2014 for the people of the United States to decide.
