Subsidies to purchase insurance should be extended to residents who earn less than 100% of the Federal Poverty Level in states which have chosen to not participate in the Medicaid Expansion . Under current Law, those residents will remain uninsured and unable to afford to purchase insurance as the original Law was written to cover them under Medicaid. The Supreme Court's severing of the Medicaid Expansion as a mandatory part of the law leaves millions uninsured. This negates the spirit of the Law as it was originally passed. Either through Executive Order or through Legislative action, this loophole needs to be addressed.
