Due to the decision made by Supreme court in Burwell v. Hobby Lobby, the stance has been made that for-profit businesses are allowed to overlook contraception coverage requirements under the Affordable Care Act based on religious beliefs held by the corporate body. One point of justification for this decision states that similar exemptions have been made for non-profit businesses, and thus for-profit businesses should be allowed the same liberties. We ask the Obama administration to amend the Affordable Care Act so that contraception coverage requirements are enforced for all businesses regardless of the opinions held by upper management.
