No government employee nor union representative shall be exempt from the Affordable Care Act. I understand many are trying to hide behind "The Congressional Fairness Amendment" but this is ludicrous. If the Affordable Care Act is so great why is congress exempt? Why is this law good enough for the American people but not good enough to suit our elected officials? The ORIGINAL 28th Amendment stated “Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States “.
