amend Article II of the Constitution, stating the requirements of Presidency, to include military service.

Created by J.S. on November 11, 2012

Every day military leaders are forced to make decisions not of their own, putting lives at risk and their missions in jeopardy because of the orders handed down to them. For a Commander-in-Chief, the executive of every military branch to make a decision affecting every life to the lowest subordinate level, he should have at least a basic fundamental understanding of what it means to lead and execute orders as a soldier, sailor, or airmen. This petition is to amend Article II, Section I, Clause V, to include that a candidate for presidency of the United States of America undertake a minimum of three years of U.S. military service.
