The people of the United States have been worried constantly of the government's hold on the internet. We often hear of government funded internet surveillance in countries like China and Iran. Previous bills such as SOPA and PIPA, through the combined efforts of the American people, have been systematically thwarted. But we are still very cautious of similar bills attempting to get passed.
Any American Patriot would like to be reassured that this will never happen in the United States of America, and that government would not be allowed to tread on the individual freedoms of every American.
The undersigned would like the Bill of Rights to be amended to include every American's right to digital privacy. Typical netizens are not criminals.
