Amend Child Support Laws to Fair and Constitutional

Created by C.S. on January 08, 2014

Current Child Support Laws are unfair, unjust, and unconstitutional. Each parent has an obligation to support their child and should be held responsible to do so. The current laws ONLY take into account Gross Income and award child support to the one making less. This is an issue that needs to take into account many other factors including: custody, parenting time, and financial obligations. The current laws have the potential to: destroy one household, while uplifting the other; reward complacency, while punishing success. The current laws infringe upon the right to pursue happiness.
