Amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 under title 42, Chapter 21 of the United States Code, to include "sexual orientation"

Created by N.S. on September 05, 2015

This is a petition to request assistance from the White House and to enact Congress to amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 under title 42, Chapter 21 of the United States Code, to include "sexual orientation or sexual identification" in the clause that states that discrimination based on "race, color, religion, or national origin" in public establishments that have a connection to interstate commerce or are supported by the state is prohibited. This amendment would give civil rights to those with different sexual orientation or identification and help to abolish discrimination against them.
