We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Amend Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) 18 U.S. Code §1030

Created by S.M. on November 08, 2016

We propose that the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) 18 U.S. Code §1030 be rewritten and redefined with more clear and defined guidelines of what is and is not legal "hacking" we also propose that amendments be made which allow ethical use of the ability to "hack" and detain information gathered if it is the intent of the hacker to bring about justice in found criminalistics and unconstitutional acts.

With foresight into recent events and citizens growing concern with corrupt governmental practiced we find that "ethical hacking and detaining of information" can be beneficial to the United States Government evidence by recent events regarding Hillary Clinton investigation. Ethical hacking has provided much needed light into this case concluding that the laws should be redefined
