1) "Breathing Rule." If you can breathe, you can participate in an election by giving money and voting. "Corporate Personhood" can't breathe and can't vote, so why should it be allowed to give money? This sidesteps the First Amendment protecting corporations in elections.
2) Mandate a term limit on Congress. Every American has wanted this since 1944 according to Gallup. Follow Washington's rule: Nothing longer than 8 years per office, so logically that works out to four terms for the House, one term for the Senate, and two terms for a President. A stellar candidate could ideally serve in all capacities for a maximum of 22 years as a Representative, Senator, and President.
3) Abolish electoral college. In 1992 Ross Perot got 18 million votes from Americans and zero electoral votes.
