We call for the immediate termination of the Electoral College in all presidential elections.
Many of the electors in the Electoral College already have their minds made up on who they want to vote for before the primaries even start. Electors are often chosen to recognize their dedication to their political party. Essentially, if you are a Democrat in a red state (or visa versa), your vote will never matter and if you are anything other than a Democrat or Republican, your voice will be lost in the bipartisan election process.
In the information Age, all of us have the capacity to be well informed and decide for ourselves who the next president should be; not the nameless and faceless people of the Electoral College that WE THE PEOPLE did not designate.
