By amending the Constitution to restrict an elected Presidential Term Limit to a one time term of 6 years, this would eliminate the need for a President to spend their first Term Campaigning for the next. It allows the President to hit the ground running without being beholden to special interests and can begin working on their legacy immediately. The President can focus on issues affecting all Americans and for better or worse, give a SOLID 6 years of hard work to the American People. Not 4 years of walking on eggshells trying to get re-elected, and if re-elected, pretty much burnt out after two more years. The last 2-3 years of an 8 year term spent just waiting to get out and start making real money with speeches and books.
