Amend the Constitution to disband the electoral college & make voting day a national holiday taking place on a Saturday.

Created by L.P. on May 07, 2013

Our current "democratic" process is an illusion in which our actual votes don't count for anything. The electoral college, a small group of anonymous people go over our heads and make the decision for us while we stand in lines waiting to cast our "vote." Amend the constitution to disband the electoral college, make it "one person, one vote," and change voting day from a Tuesday in the middle of the work week to a Saturday. Furthermore, make it a national holiday so that everyone is off work and able to cast their vote.
