We are asking that Congress enact a Constitutional amendment to remove the process of using Electors to elect the President of the United States. In it's place we ask that a direct popular vote system be put into place with an Instant Run-off System.
The American people should vote for this highest office directly so that no President is ever elected to office again without winning the overall popular vote. Using Electors creates a system where some votes are valued more then others and voters in 'dark red' or 'dark blue' states have votes that essential don't count; disenfranchising these voters.
Candidates will have to campaign in all states and the Instant Run-off system allows voters to pick their first choice without being a 'spoiler'.
