Since the Supreme Court changed the voting rights act a few years ago, many states have been trying to place restrictions on voting. If we just give everyone 18 and older the right to vote, and require states to give an ID to anyone who requests one at 18, we would eliminate these attempts and all future court cases trying to overturn them. Every American should be able to vote, prisoners would be ineligible until their prison sentence is finished, at which time, their right would be restored.
