We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, ...and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this request for amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America.
We wish to peacefully reform the scourge of career politicians making laws under which they will never be subject. Service in government should be with the understanding that those creating the laws will have to return to civilian life and live under the very guidelines they have put in place.
