Politicians are elected by the people and make promises to the people that elected them. As soon as they get to Washington those promises are long forgotten as well as the people that got them there. Career politicians have become increasingly stubborn and arrogant to any idea that may come from across the isle. Instead of doing whats best for the people, they continue to look after themselves and their party. Washington needs to be fixed from the inside out, not the outside in.
