In keeping with the Golden Rule and with all due respect, we believe the time has come to follow through on our principles and stop limiting democracy.
With the advent of the internet we now have the tools to give everyone an equal say where it matters most. Now is the time to implement a system of direct democracy, similar to the Swiss model, which would give "We the People" the authority to define and defend our rights.
The divide between public opinion and government policy is huge and growing wider. Relying on elected officials to defend our rights is unfair to both you and us. We need to share this responsibility in order to keep it from becoming abusive.
