Amend the Constitution to overturn the 12th Amendment and allow the popular vote to decide the presidency.

Created by C.N. on December 05, 2012

The Electoral College takes away the voice of the people in the presidential election. The Constitution should be amended to allow the popular vote to decide the presidency and not the electoral vote. With today's technology it is easy to count the popular vote compared to when the Amendment was passed. It should be the votes of the American people that decide the presidency and the the votes of 535 select electors.
