Amend the constitution to place term limits on Representatives and Senators

Created by S.A. on November 13, 2012

The constitution was amended to limit the term of the President. In an effort to refocus the congress on the people they represent, the constitution should be amended to:
1. Limit the terms of a Senator to two six year terms
2. Limit the terms of a Representative to 4 three year terms.

The change in term length for the representatives will allow them more time to focus on doing the work they were sent to congress for. By limiting the terms of both the Senators and Representatives they will be less likely to focus on doing things to get re-elected. They can truely work to move the country forward.
The founding fathers never intended that the congress be a life long job, it was a part time job that people would do for the betterment of all citizens.
