amend the constitution to prevent politicians, including the President, from being reelected to a second term.

It seems that so much of our politicians efforts are being spent on being reelected. If we were to remove the worry of reelection, politicians would be free to focus on why they were elected in the first place. Terms would be spent on governing, as oppose to campaigning. It may be necessary to open a discussion about extending the length of terms, since politicians would only be getting one chance.
