In the past, the Supreme Court made decisions that are not founded on constitutional interpretation but rather political opinion. We feel a change is in order. Justices are historically appointed for life. Since the attitude of the American people changes between liberal and conservative at times, the supreme court can become very dysfunctional and as a result, cannot always achieve the goals of the electorate. This amendment addresses this issue.
THE AMENDMENT:
In the first year of the first term, a newly elected president may replace any three supreme court justices. The process must be started for all replacements in the first three months in office, or he will lose this option. Additionally no supreme court decisions shall be rendered until this process is complete.
