AMEND THE CONSTITUTION TO TAKE THE POWER TO GO TO WAR AWAY FROM THE POLITICIANS

An amendment that would eliminate Congress's authority to declare war and entrust that decision to the people who can best appreciate its implications.

AMENDMENT _ _:

The authority previously granted in Article I, section 8, clause 11, enabling Congress to declare war is hereby rescinded.

Henceforth, the decision to declare war shall be made by vote of the widows of the previous war.

Congress will immediately facilitate this article by appropriate legislation.
