We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Amend the Constitution of the United States to impose term limits on all members of the Senate and Congress.

Created by E.B. on June 17, 2016

The U.S. Congress has a 9% approval rating. Yet we continue to re-elect the same people over and over. It is time that we remove the career politicians out of Washington DC. The Constitution of the United States needs to be amended to impose term limits on all members of the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives. Limit each U.S. Senator to two six-year terms and each U.S. Congressperson to six two-year terms. Each member will have to sit out one term before being able to run for re-election.
