In accordance with our rights, as US citizens, protected by the first amendment, we hereby, petition the Government of the United States to amend the Constitution to provide the following regulations to Congress:
1) Impose term limits not to exceed 3 terms as Representative and 2 as Senator.
2) Disallow Congress to set their own rate of pay. Instead replace it with a system similar to our military.
3) Congressmen must pay a portion of their healthcare premiums and this coverage expires 90 days after leaving office.
4) Upon leaving office members of Congress (and other elected offices) shall receive 1/2 of their pay for 2 years. There will be no more lifetime entitlements.
