Amend the Constitution of the United States to impose TERM LIMITS on members of Congress.

Created by S.H. on November 14, 2012

Career politicians are more concerned with their own gain than the interests of the American people. Imposing term limits will return the power back to the people for the following reasons:
Being a Senior Congress member will no longer gain the power and influence that it does now without regard to merit.
Special interests will not be as influential if members come and go on a regular exchange.
People who work in the real world can be elected to serve The People and then expect to return to work alongside the people they've represented.
New ideas from citizen members will be presented. Problem solving would become the primary motivator – not re-election.
An apathetic voting public will have structural safe guards against politicians who get into office and never leave.
