The Declaration of Independence declares that all men possess certain unalienable rights among these being Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness, which are granted to us- not by government, but rather- by our creator. As such, we the people have the right as individuals to freely engage or not engage in legal economic activity without government intrusion. This petition calls on our government to amend the Constitution of the United states so as to permanently constrain the government from infringing upon the right of the individual to freely decide how to engage in legal economic activity and protect citizens from potential abuses by the government and corporation who may use the power of government- through political influence- to force Americans to buy their products.
