Amend the current law on the eligibility of the VA veteran's marker program to include all veterans.

Created by N.R. on December 21, 2015

Public Law 110-157 states that only veterans who died after November of 1990 are eligible for a VA provided footstone, marker or medallion at their gravesite if they already have a privately purchased marker. All veterans regardless of when they die should be entitled the same benefits to forever memorialize their service to their country. Of my grandfather and his 3 brothers who were in WW2, only one was able to get a marker for this law. This simply should never be the case for America's veterans. I am submitting this petition for the President to push for Congress to consider amending this law to allow for all veterans to be allowed this benefit.
