This is a petition to pass the Paycheck Fairness Act that was introduced into the Senate last year. So far it has been filibustered and put off. We need to pass this policy in order to fix the pay gap between men and women.
On average, women earn 77 cents for every dollar a man earns. This is an outrage and the Equal Pay Act doesn't do much to amend this problem. A woman earning minimum age cannot support herself let alone a family. In order to create a more equal America we have to pass this bill.
