Amend the Executive Order changing the HARP program to include homeowners in the eviction stage of losing their homes.

Created by B.H. on January 04, 2012

On Oct 24, 2011 the Obama administration, by Executive Order, announced an overhaul to the HARP program that will make it easier for struggling homeowners to refinance their mortgages and take advantage of low interest rates.

NEC Director Gene Sperling excluded homeowners who were in foreclosure and facing eviction when his team advised President Obama to issue that Executive Order.

Now the Occupy the White House Movement, which is comprised of a coalition of nationwide Occupy Movements and Clergy, offers the Obama administration an opportunity to correct this injustice with an Executive Order that adds HR 3129 to the HARP program because it will:

1. Allow homeowners threatened with eviction to remain in their homes until they receive Government refinancing thru HR 3129...as amended.
