Current Federal law mandates that schools enroll illegal immigrant children regardless of whether they have received medical vaccination or screening. The burden of accomplishing this task is put on the schools, and may be too late in preventing an outbreak of a range of diseases.
Latin America is currently dealing with an epidemic reported to cause renal failure, and death, that has killed 24,000 people in El Salvador and Nicaragua since 2000. We the people stand behind education for all, but, it should not come at the price of our children's health and welfare.
