Amend The Federal Prohibition of Female Genital Mutilation Act of 1995 to include Males as per the 14th amendment.

Created by R.J. on April 22, 2016

The Federal Prohibition of Female Genital Mutilation Act of 1995, while enacted in good faith, directly discriminates against male children and is a direct violation of the 14th Amendments equal protection clause. Female genital mutilation is considered a crime against women, and a violation of rights and bodily integrity while baby boys suffer medical mistakes and even death. No medical association in the world recommends male circumcision, and the dubious health claims that support it can be achieved with basic hygiene and safe sex practices. There is no religious exemption for female genital cutting. To allow males to be denied protection under this law their, religious rights and bodily rights are infringed upon. Males should be entitled to the same equal protection. No exceptions.
